I moved to Los Angeles with a working prototype, a car, and a conviction: great food shouldn't cost $15. It costs $0.50 to make a burger. Why does it cost $12 at a restaurant?

I grew up in Liaoning, China, studied engineering at Tsinghua University, and came to USC to finish my master's in electrical engineering. Along the way I became obsessed with this question — and decided to build the answer myself.

"We don't sell to restaurants. We replace them."

Botbo's premise is simple: a robot kiosk can do everything a fast food kitchen does — grill, assemble, wrap — with zero labor cost and zero human error. The machine is real. The food is good. A burger is $2.99.

We're deploying in Los Angeles right now. If you want to try it, grab a spot on the beta list. If you want to put a kiosk at your venue — reach out.

Try it before everyone else.
